The AKIOS VERTRON SUPER SPORT COMBO BAOT & UPTIDER rod is a game changer, a truly innovative piece of kit that offers immense flexibility for all boat anglers, from the occasional charter boar angler to the avid small boat owner angler.

In its fully assembled form, the VERTRON SS COMBO is an uptider with a powerful butt and mid section progressively blending into a rolled glass tip that offers both the sensitivity and strength that's expected of a top end boat rod.

When casting simply twist and extend the butt section to form the full 9ft 6in length that provides extra leverage to propel large leads and baits beyond the scare zone. Once the bait is in the water, twist and lock the butt section back into the retracted position for a more manageable and compact 8ft 9in length.

A removeable 2ft mid-section ingeniously transforms the rod into a 6ft 9in conventional boat rod that can be extended to 7ft 6in for casting by extending the twist-lock butt section.

An impressive array of no less than 11 quality SeaGuide guides adorn a blue-carbon weave blank, whipped on with cobalt blue, violet and copper whippings.
